Message work. Whether he knew they were bad doesn't matter. So both you and the seller thought they were good, but they weren't. Unless the seller wants to claim that you damaged them, (which is a whole new topic), he owes you a refund. ... I sold a CD player that was good when I took it out 2 or 3 years ago. The buyer immediately informed me that it did not work properly, I assume due to sitting so long. We discussed, posted about it, and found it's a common problem with them. Since I sold him a unit that was supposed to work, and it didn't, I refunded his money. ... I've contended over and over that, especially on this site where we should have higher integrity, "buyer beware" is not enough to justify selling parts that won't do what they're supposed to do.
